Prior to this Andrew headed up the Commercial Information business unit at TransUnion Credit Bureau (Pty) Ltd from 2013.

His career within Credit Information and Management started in 1984 after he joined a newly established but quickly growing commercial credit information business, KreditInform, in

Johannesburg, South Africa.

During his 25 year tenure with that business Andrew’s career saw growth and development in many aspects of general and, particularly, sales management. Because of the specialist nature of the business, Andrew has established himself as an industry specialist and acknowledged spokesman on the topics of Credit and Risk Management practices, particularly pertaining to trade credit, credit insurance and SMME credit.

 He co-authored, edited and published “The Company You Keep” in 2003 highlighting the role of credit management in corporate governance best practice and is regularly called upon to present at conferences and seminars. His experience as a sales and market leader within this niche area of operations provides Andrew with a unique opportunity to provide insight to the issues affecting South African business in their quest to capitalise and grow through effective customer lifecycle management.

Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Management of South Africa, a membership designation conferred in recognition of a term of six years as a Director of the Institute and two years as Vice-President. He received further recognition in this field by being selected to receive the Institute’s, President’s Award in 2012 for his overall contribution to the Institute and the industry in general. Andrew is married with two children. Among the accomplishments, he is most proud to list is the successful summit of Kilimanjaro in 2002.
